The eviction of good running Kannada film for other language films is the grouse of ‘Raakshasi’ team. It is in fact ‘Rakshasa’ effect – thanks to exhibition system in Karnataka.

For the three big releases of last Friday – 13^th November, Salman Khan, Kamal Haasan and Ajith Hindi and Tamil films the penalty is paid by ‘Rakshasi’ Kannada film.

The film ‘Rakshasi’ got released on 6^th of November was collecting good and it has received rave reviews. In Multiplex screens the film was ousted in just four days.

For Rs.3 crore investment on the film, is it the right way asks producer Navarasan. Navarasan is also distributor of the film. Facing such eviction is distressing he says. The collection was a bit dull because of rain. It has got good opening. The audiences are happy. Then what is the fuss in continuing in theatres is the worry of Navarasan. Actress Sindhu Lokanath and comedy actor Kempe Gowda were present at the media address by Navarasan on Saturday evening.

Navarasan urged the media to support in this case of sheer disobedience of theatre owners.
